This policy covers the BOWL – Personal Exam Coach mobile application and connected services provided by Crei Studio.

For the purposes of Türkiye’s Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), the data controller is Ekrem Ayan, trading under the Crei Studio name. Privacy and personal-data requests may be sent to hello@creistudio.com.

• Account and profile: first and last name, email address, user identifier and password hash; optional city and gender.
• Education and product use: OBP and TYT scores, exam answers, timings, results, topic-study records, favourites, goals, badges and performance analysis.
• User content: a question image selected or captured only when you start the question-solving flow, and the related AI response.
• Purchases: store transaction/purchase token, plan type, subscription status and entitlement records. BOWL does not receive full payment-card details.
• Notifications: Expo push token, device/platform information and notification preferences.
• Security and technical records: request identifiers, failed-login counters, abuse-prevention events and redacted error logs.

BOWL does not display advertising, sell personal data for advertising, or track users across apps. Release builds do not request an advertising identifier or microphone permission.

Data is collected electronically from information you enter in registration and profile forms, records created when you use product features, device information you permit and store services such as Google Play or the App Store.

Camera or photo access is used only when you choose to capture or select a question image. Notification permission is requested when you choose to enable notifications. These permissions can be changed in device settings.

We process data to create and secure your account, provide exam and study features, generate progress insight, solve a question at your request, verify purchases, send notifications you select, provide support and protect the service.

Depending on the activity, processing relies on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, establishing or protecting a right, and legitimate interests that do not override your fundamental rights. Where applicable law requires consent, the relevant feature is activated only through your choice.

Data may be disclosed only as necessary to providers supporting hosting, databases and image storage; user-initiated AI processing; notification delivery; app-store purchase verification; email verification and password recovery.

• AWS infrastructure: hosting the API, database and question images.
• OpenAI API: processing analysis or question-solving content that you explicitly submit.
• Expo Push: push tokens and notification delivery.
• Google Play Billing and, when enabled, Apple StoreKit/App Store Server API: purchase and subscription verification.
• SMTP/email provider: email verification, password recovery and support communication.

Some providers may use infrastructure outside Türkiye. International transfers are handled subject to applicable legal requirements and safeguards. Lawful requests from authorised public bodies remain reserved.

Account and product records are retained while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you submit a request in the app or through the account deletion page, your account and associated data are permanently deleted within 30 days; stored question images are removed as part of that process.

Limited records that must be kept for legal compliance, payment disputes, security, fraud prevention or the establishment and protection of legal rights may be retained with restricted access only for the necessary period, then deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

You may exercise the rights available under Article 11 of KVKK, including access, correction, deletion or destruction, notice to recipients, objection to certain automated outcomes and compensation where the legal conditions are met.

Send your request to hello@creistudio.com, stating the email address registered to your BOWL account and describing the request. We may ask only for the additional information necessary to verify identity and account ownership.

BOWL is an education product for students preparing for exams. If you are under 18, use the application with the knowledge and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians may send privacy or deletion requests concerning a child to hello@creistudio.com.

We may update this policy when the product, providers or applicable law changes. Material updates will be announced in the application or on this page.
